To guarantee that all pets admitted to our facility be free of any contagious diseases, we require all animals to be up to date on vaccines at the time of drop-off to our facility. All owners will be required to provide written proof of their animals vaccinations at the time of drop-off, if the vaccines were not administered here. If proof is NOT provided to the hospital at the time of drop-off the Hospital has the right to refuse your animals admission to the facility. It will be the decision of the owner whether their animal is vaccinated in order to board at the facility and they will responsible for any and all costs incurred during their animals stay, this includes but is not limited to charges for an office visit and vaccines.
● Dogs must be up to date on Distemper, Kennel Cough, and Rabies
● Cats must be up to date on Distemper, Rabies, and Leukemia (only if the cat goes outdoors)
Your animal will be checked for fleas prior to admission. Any animal found to have fleas will be treated with frontline/advantix at the owner's expense. The Hospital strongly recommends that animals coming into the hospital be up on a flea/tick prevention to keep your animal from bringing home any pets of their own. The Hospital also strongly recommends booking a grooming appointment if your animal is staying for an extended period of time.
Stress, a quick change in diet, or a change in their environment can lead to gastric upset. Therefore, the hospital recommends that each animal come in with a sufficient amount of their own food. It will be brought to a Doctors attention if an animal staying in the facility develops diarrhea or any other medical condition. The hospital will do its best to contact the owner prior to any treatment. However, if contact cannot be made the Doctor will use his/her discretion in the animals best interest. The hospital will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred in resolving the problem, including any necessary bathing.
