    Professional groomer Laura Wentworth has joined the staff at Canton Veterinary Hospital. Laura attended the Petco grooming school in Waltham, MA, trained under a master groomer for 3 years, and has been grooming on her own for the last year. Called the “Gentle Groomer” by her colleagues, Laura is experienced in grooming all breeds of dogs and cats, and will pamper your pets with great
care.

 
    From pedicures to bathing to breed-specific styling, we are here to keep your pets happy and healthy. Regular grooming can prevent problems such as skin infections, mats, overgrown nails and excessive shedding. It can also help identify other problems that may go unnoticed, such as ear infections, skin lumps, and parasites. For your convenience, any health issues or concerns noticed during a grooming appointment can be addressed by one of our doctors while your pet is here.

    For the safety of your pet, as well as our staff, we do require that all grooming clients be up to date on certain vaccinations.

● Dogs must be up to date on Distemper, Kennel Cough, and Rabies

● Cats must be up to date on Distemper, Rabies, and Leukemia (only if the cat goes outdoors)

    Sometimes the grooming experience can be stressful, especially for our feline friends. If you have a pet that requires special attention in this regard, sedation grooming is a service available for pets found healthy for anesthesia.
