The Canton Veterinary Hospital offers many different types of surgeries. The more common types of surgeries performed are but not limited to; routine spays and neuters, dental prophylaxis & extractions, soft tissue procedures (biopsies, mass removals, ocular & abdominal procedures), orthopedic procedures (patellar & cruciate ligament procedures, declaws and amputations).
Also offered at the Hospital is our Cutting Edge laser surgery machine. Laser surgery offers less pain, less bleeding, less chance of infection, and a faster recovery, so your pet is back to their usual self faster.
If you are planning on surgery for your pet there is a mandatory office exam done before surgery and your animal must be up to date on all vaccines
● Dogs must be up to date on Distemper, Kennel Cough, and Rabies
● Cats must be up to date on Distemper, Rabies, and Leukemia (only if the cat goes outdoors)
